For Qasr Al watan: Please be informed that Qasr Al Watan will be closed from 18th till 21st of October 2026 due to a private event at the Palace. During this period, guests will not be able to access Qasr Al Watan, and the light show will be cancelled. The palace is set to reopen on the 22nd of October 2026. Should there be any changes to the reopening date further communication will be sent.

UAE Flag Day at Global Village (3rd of November)

Global Village will join the nation in celebratingUAE Flag Day on Tuesday, 3 November, with a special programme honouring the country’s pride, unity and identity, highlighted by a breathtaking drone show that will paint the night sky in the colours of the UAE flag. Taking place at8PM, the display will be the centrepiece of the evening, with 700 illuminated drones taking to the skies above Global Village to form striking aerial formations in red, green, white and black. The drone show will turn the night sky into a luminous tribute to the nation, offering a moment of reflection and celebration. Guests of all ages are invited to gather and share in a memorable salute to the UAE. UAE flags will be proudly displayed throughout Global Village, with key landmarks illuminated in the colours of the national flag. Guests will also receive UAE flags upon arrival, inviting everyone to take part in the celebrations and share in the spirit of national pride. Beyond the celebrations, guests can explore the UAE Pavilion, which showcases traditional handicrafts, local finds and Emirati specialities, offering opportunities to shop, sample and discover the country’s rich cultural heritage. Across Global Village, guests can also enjoy diverse shopping experiences and international dining options, rounding off an evening of celebration with family and friends. Access to all experiences is included within the Global Village entry ticket.

Diwali Celebrations at Global Village Dubai (6-10 Nov)

Global Village is set to celebrate Diwali from 06 to 10 November with a vibrant programme of cultural experiences, festive traditions and entertainment for the whole family. Adding to the lively atmosphere, the Diwali Mela, in collaboration with India Pavilion, will bring beautiful selection of market experiences at the Commercial Activation area. From shopping for traditional Diwali décor and thoughtful gifts to traditional snacks and treats, guests can find little ways to bring the spirit of Diwali home and make the occasion even more special with their loved ones. At the Kids Corner, little ones can explore the festival’s creative traditions with Diwali-themed activities including face painting, diya colouring, and rangoli making. Festive “Happy Diwali” signboards will offer picture-perfect moments, while decorative lamp posts along World Avenue will add an extra glow to the destination. For the first time ever, Global Village will introduce a Baithak on 06 November, celebrating a traditional form of South Asian musical gathering known for its sit-down intimate atmosphere and symphony. Rooted in the joy of shared music, guests can sing along, engage with the performing artists and become part of the experience. Taking place on the Main Stage from 8PM to 9PM, this special first for Global Village will bring the rich musical traditions and celebratory spirit of Diwali to life, in collaboration with City FM.
