European Classics in Dubai

Presented by Pontum Solutions

European Classics brings the timeless tradition of European opera theatre to the Middle East in an elegant setting at the Dubai Opera Studio.

Soprano Aleksandra Chernenko and mezzo-soprano Alina Vasina, together with pianist Anna Schreider, present a refined selection of masterpieces from the European classical tradition. The programme features arias and duets by Puccini, Bellini, Mozart, Delibes, and other great composers, including beloved highlights such as Casta Diva and the Flower Duet from Lakmé.

Aleksandra Chernenko is an internationally acclaimed opera singer, an alumna of the National Opera Studio in London and a graduate of the Mozarteum University Salzburg.

Alina Vasina is an alumna of the Galina Vishnevskaya Opera Center in Moscow, a laureate of international competitions, and an active participant in the cultural life of the UAE.

Pianist Anna Schreider is an experienced collaborative pianist and chamber musician who works closely with opera singers across Europe and the Middle East. She is a graduate of the Royal Academy of Music in London, as well as a laureate and prize-winner of international competitions.

We invite the audience into an immersive dialogue in which voice and piano create a powerful yet intimate musical experience.
