• Show your smartphone voucher to the driver upon pickup and exchange it for the entry ticket • The operator will contact you to arrange the transfer • Free wheelchairs are available • All museum exhibits are accessible by elevator • Strictly Non-Refundable & Non-Transferable: Tickets cannot be refunded under any circumstances (even if unused or expired) and can only be used by the named holder with valid ID. • Banned Items: Sharp/dangerous objects, umbrellas, musical instruments, unauthorized banners, pets, and folding seats are completely prohibited inside. • Bag Limits: Bags or luggage larger than 40 x 40 cm must be stored in the cloakroom and are subject to search at any time. • Conduct & Safety: Do not touch exhibits; smoking, audio players, flashlights, laser pointers, and disruptive behavior are strictly prohibited. • Basic Comfort: Appropriate attire is required; food and drinks are banned (except small water bottles), and you may not lie down or remove your shoes. • Supervision: Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times and are forbidden from running or playing to prevent injuries or damage. • Photography: Private photography requires a paid fee and prohibits flash, tripods, or monopods; commercial media requires prior authority approval and separate fees.

How to get there

By Taxi / Ride-Hailing (Recommended): The most straightforward way to get there is by taking a local white taxi or using ride-hailing apps like Uber or Careem. Simply set your destination to "National Museum of Egyptian Civilization." By Metro: You can take the Cairo Metro (Line 1) and get off at the Mar Girgis (Coptic Cairo) or El-Malek El-Saleh station. From there, it is a short 5 to 10-minute taxi or microbus ride to the museum entrance.
